The UPLIFT Initiative serves as a mother instrument to birth all CSR projects for the Bank with the specific objective of offering “Today’s solution for Tomorrow’s sustainability.”

This initiative encapsulates our core value as a Bank which is represented by the acronym UPLIFT (U-Uniqueness, P – Passion, L – Leadership, I -Integrity, F- Fairness, T- Teamwork). Furthermore, The UPLIFT Initiative is anchored on seven out of the seventeen United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The CSR Initiative will find expression through these seven SDGs:

As a financial solutions provider in Africa, we constantly strive to promote financial literacy and equip the next generation with knowledge to make better financial decisions that lead to a more sustainable future.
By implementing micro and macro projects that contribute to the achievement of the goal, we hope to decrease hunger and enhance the food security of less privileged in our community.
We envision a future in which millions of people have free or low-cost access to healthcare through the UPLIFT Initiative. We are open for collaborations with local and international non-profit organizations to help us achieve our vision of supporting the health industry especially, in the communities we operate.
NOVA recognizes the need to enhance the quality of education in the communities in which we operate. Through the UPLIFT initiative, we will provide tools and resources, ensure inclusive and equitable quality education, and promote lifelong learning opportunities for beneficiaries.
Through the UPLIFT Initiative, we will continue to encourage full participation of women and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making. We will continue to seek collaborations with local and international platforms that drive this goal within our community.
The NOVA Uplift initiative envisions a Nigeria in which communities have easy access to clean water in a sanitary environment. We are on the lookout for both local and international partnerships to maximally help achieve this goal.
